Description
The KF930 is a dedicated low frequency module engineered for use with Phase PointSource Technology digital signal processing in the creation of PPST arrays. The system comprises two cells each consisting of two specially designed 15-in low frequency cones loaded "magnets out" on angled baffles to maximize acoustical coupling of the drivers. Both horizontal and vertical coverage are determined by PPST processing.

PPST processing allows the use of a variety of directivity enhancing schemes including line arrays and EAW\'s Tuned Dipolar Array technology. Properly PPST settings can also maximize low frequency output and LF extension. The specific needs of the application should determine which type of settings are implemented.

A toggle switch controls the KF930\'s only passive filtering which provides appropriate settings for modules located in inner or outer columns. Outboard digital signal processors must provide all other system control.

Applications
The KF930 PPST lLF module is engineered for use only in KF900 Series arrays implementing PPST digital signal processing. It is not intended for stand alone use of any kind.

With appropriate PPST processing an array including KF930\'s can be processed to provide maximized directivity or maximized output and LF extension. The needs of your application should determine which are used.

Applications such as high energy concert tours may require three or more KF930 modules per column to generate the desire low frequency level. In such a case the specific processor settings for that multiple module configuration must be implemented.
